Dear families,

We are starting a knitting group at EHOSHC and would like to invite all children who are knitters to bring in their bits and pieces to start knitting at OSHC.

There will be some opportunities for children to learn how to knit, but due to time constraints these lessons will be impromptu and we cannot guarantee your child will receive an introductory lesson. For this reason we are encouraging children to learn some basics at home before bringing in their knitting.

Your child should bring their knitting (wool & needles) in a plastic bag which will need to stay in their school bag.

Our educators will provide a quiet space for the children to knit during both am & pm sessions and offer assistance & guidance when needed. We are hoping that if we get started early enough, we’ll have some scarves for winter…We are all looking forward to it!
